Three Christmas Albums You Should be Listening to in 2018

Christmas time is near, and by near I mean it’s only three days away so it’s the perfect time to spread Christmas cheer and the Three Christmas Albums that should be serenading your family and friends during this joyous season.

A Motown Christmas

This classic belongs at the top of the list. I can’t even remember the first time I heard A Motown Christmas but it has been etched in my heart since that first listen. Produced in 1973 this album is full of musical legends Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, The Temptations, The Supremes, Micheal Jackson, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, & Marvin Gaye. This Christmas album is sure to get you in the Holiday mood and take you back in time all at once.

2. Mariah Carey - Merry Christmas

What’s Christmas without commercials and concerts blaring:

I don’t want a lot for Christmas

There is just one thing I need

I don’t care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree

I just want you for my own, More than you could ever know

Make my wish come true

All I want for Christmas is you

I don’t think it would even really feel like Christmas time without Mariah Carey bellowing those tunes. Mariah & Christmas go together like white on rice, which is why Mariah Carey-Merry Christmas holds the number two spot for Christmas albums you should absolutely be listening to.

3. The Gift

This Christmas album is a new comer to the scene thanks to Reach Records. On The Gift, Reach Records artist such as Lecrae, 1K Phew, Trip Lee, CASS, Evan and Eris, and nobigdyl just to name a few deliver classic Christmas songs we all love with an urban twist. That urban twist makes this album the perfect Christmas Album to get your Christmas bash started right.
